Farewell to Northshore

|
|
This past month has seen some changes at Kumara, mainly caused through the dramatic event of the “Perth Monday Hail Storm’. As a result of the ferocity of this storm, the roof at the Northshore Centre collapsed. This resulted with the closure of this part of the Kumara Centre. However, rapid work has been going on and, with minimal disruption, we have managed to move all workshops to Heathridge and have almost completed the new Heathridge therapy room.

Please note that, except for actual Public Holidays, the Kumara courses and casual healings and meditations will run normally through the Easter School Holiday period

At the same time all the stock has been arriving from the Sydney expo, so the shop and cafe have been undergoing some major changes. We had to make more space in the cafe for our fantastic new range of teas and funky teapots, so we have moved the books back into the shop. We needed more shelving in the shop as the existing shelves started to sag under the weight of all the new crystals, jewellery, stationery and so much more. The children’s stock has also just arrived and the lamps, activity bags and giftware are being snapped up.

Meditation Retreat - Just for Teens
To celebrate the arrival of the Kumara shop’s children's range, we have set up a special
‘Teens Meditation Retreat’
which will take place on Thursday 15th April 9.30 - 2.30pm. If you have difficulty studying, or you just feel stressed out, come along to our Teens Daytime Retreat - no adults allowed!

The Chakras

The chakras are energy ‘wheels’ that are part of the human being’s energetic body. They are not visible to the average man - but as a person begins to develop his inner senses, an amazing and fascinating world opens before him. This new world, which is now visible, is not just the world of the astral or emotional plane with its many denizens of elementals, ET’s and thought-forms but the world of the chakras.
